Committed to Your Passion!

Ashraf Kadri

When did you start to play squash?  Where? How were you introduced to the game? Ashraf wins one

I started playing squash when I was in the fifth grade in Karachi, Pakistan.  I played through primary and secondary school, but stopped when I entered college so I could focus on my studies.

I started playing again in 1999 in Lost Angeles,  but I moved to Northern Virginia in 2001.  I’ve really picked up the game with much more focus in the last two years.

What is your best memory about playing squash?

My enjoyment and good memories of the sport have really increased since I started taking lessons with Jahangir.

How have you improved as a squash player working with me?  What is your favorite thing about working with me?
I have improved my game tremendously as soon as I started coaching with you.  I really like the fact that you focus not only on the squash skills, but also helping me to increase my overall fitness.

What drill do you like best and why?
I really love 3 corner drill. I can hardly keep up with the skill but at the same time it helps me to prepare for the real game.

What is your next squash goal?
I have won Mosquito Open 2010 and my next goal is to win U.S. Nationals.
