When did you start to play squash?
I used to play badminton in India. I started playing squash while I was doing my masters in hong kong university in 1996. The squash courts were right next to the badminton courts and i thought it would be fun to try the sport. I liked the game so much that I stopped playing badminton and started playing squash regularly.
What is your best memory of playing squash?
My best memories of playing the game are some of the hard fought NCSRA league games I have won.
How have you improved as a squash player working with me?
Within just a few sessions of coaching, I have calmed down mentally on the courts, so I would say you have helped the mental aspect of my game the most.
What is your favorite thing about working with me?
You have always been very supportive of my growth as a player even before you started coaching you. You would give me advice on equipment, give me tips during tournaments and leagues before you started coaching at Sport&Health. You are very accessible as a pro.
What drill do you like best and why?
All of your drills, I feel my legs for the next two days following my lessons
What is your next squash goal?
Become good enough to play and win in the Premier League here in the DC area.
